We turn our hearts to the quiet that the nighttime brings,
O God.
May the stillness and the quiet be restorative and healing for all of us.
May the silence give us occasion to feel your grace more deeply.
May the love that you have for all of us
wash over us, bringing peace and comfort.
Be with all who work this evening,
that they might have strength and wisdom.
And for those who are lonely or worried or ill,
may each and all know peace.
Sleep well.
God’s peace be with you.
